We continue our “18 Days of Color” campaign in conjunction with the Social Madness contest. As we explained in this post, our social media success is being measured between June 1 and June 18 by our Twitter follows, Facebook likes, LinkedIn Connections and votes on the Social Madness website. To earn those connections and votes, we will post a social media update from either Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn that used a color reference to evoke emotion as it pertains to business.
Color No. 3 is …
Today’s color post is brought to you Kodak from their I Dig Print Twitter account. In last week’s #printchat, which is a weekly chat focused on the print industry, they were a special guest and this particular tweet caught our eye. In May, Kodak participated in Drupa, an international print media trade show, in Dusseldorf, Germany. Their campaign for the show was “Yellow Changes Everything.” Their tweet explains what that slogan means to them.
Like many other colors, yellow can mean a lot of different things. It is often associated with caution because of traffic signals and road signs. However, it’s also a cheerful color that promotes energy, productivity and organization. This definition fits with Kodak’s slogan.
