We continue our “18 Days of Color” campaign in conjunction with the Social Madness contest. As we explained in yesterday’s post, our social media success is being measured between June 1 and June 18 by our Twitter follows, Facebook likes, LinkedIn Connections and votes on the Social Madness website. To earn those connections and votes, we will post a social media update from either Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn that used a color reference to evoke emotion as it pertains to business.
Color No. 2 is …
Today’s color is in honor of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network – Milwaukee Chapter. Their annual charity walk Purple Stride takes place today along Milwaukee’s lakefront. The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network uses the color purple in all of their promotional material.
Purple is associated with purification, soothing and healing. Many color psychologists agree that purples help in the care of mental disorders by restoring a balance of mind and body. It’s a very appropriate color for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network to use.
