Our “18 Days of Color” campaign continues in conjunction with the Social Madness contest. As we explained in this post, our social media success is being measured between June 1 and June 18 by our Twitter follows, Facebook likes, LinkedIn Connections and votes on the Social Madness website. To earn those connections and votes, we will post a social media update from either Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn that used a color reference to evoke emotion as it pertains to business.
Color No. 4 is …
Our pick of the color green for today was inspired by a tweet from Canadian contemporary dancer Nicholas Eichenberger. Sure, he starts off with the cliche “the grass is always greener on the other side” that so often associates green with envy. However, color psychologists say that brighter greens actually evoke more positive feelings such as tactfulness, hopefulness and self-reliance. While he begins with a negative emotion, Eichenberger’s tweet suggests that anyone can change and find their positive green.
