You can find out more about this contest in this post, but through our campaign we will post a social media update from either Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn that used a color reference to evoke emotion as it pertains to business.
Color No. 7 is …
We are finding through this campaign that so much of the emotion related to color comes in the form of cliches. In today’s example, Stewart-Haas Racing tweeted a “silver lining” cliche. However, in keeping with the findings of color psychologists, it’s actually pretty accurate. The color silver is associated with the moon, which relates to balance in the way it waxes and wanes and controls the tides of our oceans.
Silver emotes feelings of balance, control and wisdom so when someone mentions the “silver lining” of a situation, they are searching for the positive outlook.
