Special Instructions

For ColorMetrix to be able to communicate with a X-Rite 938 instrument, the instrument must first be configured with the following settings:

• RCI ON
• BAUD 9600
• CR WITH LF
• HANDSHAKE OFF
• AUTO PRINTOUT
• COMPUTER OUTPUT (PRINTER OUTPUT works also, but it’s slower)
• ALL PRINT OFF
• PRINTER HEADER OFF
• PRINT REF OFF
• DEC. POINT ON
