For ColorMetrix to be able to communicate with a X-Rite 400 series instrument, the instrument must be configured with the following settings:

• RCI – ON
• RPT – OFF
• PIN5 – OFF
• Baud – 9600
• HDR – OFF
• DPT – ON
• CRLF
• COMP – ON
• XOFF
