For ColorMetrix to be able to communicate with a X-Rite 400 series instrument, the instrument must be configured with the following settings:
- RCI - ON
- RPT - OFF
- PIN5 - OFF
- Baud - 9600
- HDR - OFF
- DPT - ON
- CRLF
- COMP - ON
- XOFF
